NASSE was founded by credentialed school teachers, professional athletes, and experts in their field. Founder & Executive Director James Pugliese is a graduate of Columbia University in the city of New York with a B.A. in Sociology. James holds minors in French, Art History, and Biology. James is President of The Better Golf Academy www.bettergolfforkids.com and CEO of BGA Sports & Entertainment www.bettergolfdvds.com. James is an author and hosts an Amazon bestselling DVD Better Golf for Kids. He was recently awarded a top 50 Junior Golf Instructor by U.S. Kids Golf.

Co-Founder & Executive Director Angelica Punzalan-Pugliese received her Master of Arts in Education and teaching credential from Pepperdine University. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and worked in the field of Measurements & Psychometrics.   She currently holds a California Professional Multiple Subject Teaching Credential K-12 with an English Learner Authorization (ELA) and is certified by The Gesell Institute of Human Development.
